The Ranger series are designed to be the premier surfcasting lure for Bluefish. We offer a variety of sizes so that a proper match can be made to your outfit. We see the 2¼ oz. and 3 oz. Rangers matched to 11-foot surf rods, appropriate sized spinning or level wind reels and 17 lb. test monofilament line. The 4 oz. Big Shot can be used on the same outfit for casting into a Nor ‘ easter when the Stripers are feeding in the offshore bar whitewater. The 1 3/4 oz. Bounder, 2 1/2 oz. Whistler and 3 oz. Trollmaster are also in this series of lures.
 

The Peppy is a scaled down version of the Ranger for use on light saltwater or medium weight freshwater tackle. At ¾ oz. weight, it balances most 7’ or 8’ rods. Tough ABS plastic construction and highest quality paints ensure durability even with the “toothiest” of fish. The Peppy is also designed as a long cast lure.

This is our newest offering and our first with a metal lure. The Hammer can be fished at any depth in the water column. It's slender profile is designed to imitate the sand eel. We offer four sizes from ½ oz. to 2 oz., and rig the lure with a white and chartreuse bucktail. The Hammer casts like a bullet in keeping with our philosophy that long casts are occasionally necessary. A pink and white bucktail option is also available.
