Long Point/Quansoo continues to be the hot spot for keepers with fairly consistent catches to 38 inches recently. Reports of activity at Menemsha and other west end areas in the last day or two.
Mackerel can be had at Middleground; no reports of Blues yet.
Over on the mainland, the herring are running very strong at the Bournedale/Canal ladders; saw continuous streams of fish going upstream in the middle of the day Wednesday. Most canal activity is apparently actually in Buzzards Bay for both Bass and Blues.
Just received an e-mail that the South Cape beach/Cotuit area is producing some nice blues consistently. Chrome/blue Rangers working well for larger blues .Forecast for the wind to drop off should help open things up even more.
